Sustainability and circular economy

It is important that the City embraces the challenges associated with transformation to a zero emissions and circular economy.

The City is committed to building the capacity of local businesses to embrace change, take advantage of Government funding and support adopters of circular economy principles and leaders in sustainable business practices.

We do this via our Urban Sustainability Grants, Climate Leaders Network and the Hobart Climate Strategy which will be launched in 2024.
