Drones

Drones

The City of Hobart operates a drone program primarily for mapping and for the creation of a digital twin of the municipal area.

Drones are also used to capture footage and images to support a variety of services such as inspections and communications. For example, footage captured during the May 2018 flood event formed an important aspect of the reporting process.
