Parking fine payment extensions

A request for an extension of time to pay a parking fine provides extra time (in addition to the time already allowed) to make the payment. You may also request to pay the fine in instalments if preferred.

To request an extension of time, you must be the registered owner or nominated driver of the vehicle.

We are not able to consider a request if:

  • you are not the registered owner or nominated driver of the vehicle
  • a penalty reminder notice has been issued to a company
  • the 28-day payment period has elapsed*
  • you have previously defaulted on a payment plan or extension of time request.

* An extension may be granted in extenuating circumstances.
