Climate Conversations HobArt
Earlier this year over 70 students from Hobart schools teamed up with local artist Selena de Carvalho to produce artwork for the City of Hobart's climate change strategy review.
Students shared their share ideas on climate resilience and what the City and communities could be doing now and for the future.
Students participated in a drawing marathon on the topic of climate and the future, creating two large colourful shields.
Students also participated in a 'letter to the future' activity where they wrote to their future climate, grandchildren and to their favourite season.
The City of Hobart Climate review looks at how we can continue to work with Hobart's community towards a low carbon future, and respond to climate change impacts.
