Racism. It stops with me

The City of Hobart is proud to have joined forces with some of Australia’s leading businesses, sporting bodies and non-government organisations to support the national 'Racism. It stops with me' campaign.

We are committed to preventing racism and providing a welcoming environment for everyone. We have pledged to undertake activities in support of this campaign, including placing Racism. It stops with me stickers on all City of Hobart light vehicles.

According to 2011 research, 1 in 7 Australians has experienced discrimination because of their colour or background.

The campaign is led by the Australian Human Rights Commission in partnership with government and non-government agencies.
