Our role in an emergency

The City of Hobart is responsible for minimising the effects of emergencies in our community.

We work with emergency services, and government and community organisations to plan and prepare for a range of emergency events.

We continue working alongside them after emergencies to make sure our community are supported throughout the recovery process.
