Art for takayna

For four days, artists and volunteers were based in six sites across takayna/Tarkine, inspired to create art that hopefully leads to action.

The smashing of forests points to the smashing of society. Meanwhile, Bob Brown Foundation is not about to let the miners smash takayna/Tarkine. In this magnificent collection of art, is the call of the wild which remains in every human heart. These works are diverse, wonderful, compelling and call us to action. – Bob Brown.

This is a multi-platform exhibition showcasing artists' interpretation of this wild place, through such forms as performance, photography, sculpture, written word, music and film.
