Birds on the move and Nestbox repairs

Hobart’s diverse habitats are home to a great variety of birds but not all spend the whole year here. Of the 60 plus species regularly seen around Hobart, many are more cosmopolitan than you may imagine.

Join us as we explore the fascinating movements of some of Tasmania’s migratory birds. For those keen to get hands on helping our feathered friends, we will also have a number of nest boxes in need of finishing touches (nailing and painting) before being installed in bushland reserves.
