Block printing workshop
Join Tasmanian artist Jo Boyd to learn how to create your own design and print repeat pattern onto a linen tea towel.
Block printing with a soft carve lino that's not too hard on the hands! Suitable for anyone who is interested learning a new skill in a small group setting or looking for a way to make your mark onto fabric pieces.
Your teacher for the day, Jo, has many years experience in delivering skills-based programs and also teaches Visual Art. Jo is a Hobart-based maker at 'in various states' and has been designing fabric works for some time. She will assist you throughout the day, offer support and plenty of tips and tricks, so that you can print on the day and back at home.
All tools and materials are supplied on the day including slight refreshments. Once you have booked, more information will be emailed to you the week before the workshop.
