Dark Mofo Stories After Dark

"Unearth the mysteries of the past in the State Library and Archives after dark, where hidden collections, records and artefacts are illuminated for a night of storytelling and performance."

City of Hobart's Youth Arts and Recreation Centre (Youth ARC) are collaborating with Libraries Tasmania to deliver Stories After Dark, an official Dark Mofo event.

Six young artists, supported by an industry mentor, were given the opportunity to uncover what lays dormant within the archives.

Youth ARC Dark Carpark

Together they will transform the library carpark into a dynamic exhibition space, with projection, digital works, sound works, installation and performance, as each artist explores documents, photographs and items from the State Library and Archives collections. See Tasmania's history through fresh eyes and explore our identity and past as you never have before.

This is a free, family-friendly event, open to the public. No tickets required - just come along and enjoy the night!
