E-scooter Access Forum
Following changes to the Tasmanian Road Rules, the City of Hobart has partnered with two e-scooter providers, Beam and Neuron, for a 12-month e-scooter trial in Hobart.
The City is working with Tasmania Police, the Department of State Growth, the providers and community groups, to provide a safe and enjoyable e-scooter trial for Hobart.

Hearing loop and Auslan interpreter
The information session will be in the Ballroom, Town Hall and the room has a hearing loop available. The forum will also have an Auslan interpreter present via Zoom.

Parking
Accessible parking can be found on the parking deck at the back of Town Hall (on Elizabeth Street). There will be a parking attendant available to provide access directly to the Ballroom if required. The parking deck is also available for drop off and pick up.

Accessibility of information at the forum
To ensure the presentation is accessible the vendor representatives will have a visual presentation to structure and guide the discussion as well as descriptions for any images or diagrams.
