Harmony Week 2023

Harmony Week 2023

The City of Hobart will be celebrating Harmony Week from Monday 20 to Thursday 23 March. The four day celebration includes an exciting array of culturally diverse music and dance performances, accompanied by a wide range of community organisation stalls to highlight the support and resources available in our city.

With special guest speakers such as Tasmania's Citizen of the Year - John Kamara and Young Citizen of the Year - Meriem Daoui, the event will offer free tastes from the Migrant Resource Centre kitchen, with music and dance from cultures including Argentina, Zimbabwe, Japan, Israel, Africa, Chile, India, Nepal, Korea, Sri Lanka and China.

Simultaneously, the City of Hobart is supporting Diversity Discussions, a panel conversation event exploring three topics over three days as organised by the International Wall of Friendship, to be held at the Sunken Garden.
