Spring Animation Forum

The booking portal is now open for the Spring Animation Forum.

All events are FREE and will be held at the Theatre Royal in either the Vanessa Goodwin Room or the Studio Theatre.

There is a workshop in the morning and four sessions through the afternoon, all which need to be booked separately, via the booking link below.

Please note the PG rating on the feature film if you are coming to the last session with young children.

The hands-on workshop and demonstration will be run in the morning by local graphics and animation app developer Procreate and is open to up to 50 participants and observers with their own iPad.

The sessions for the afternoon are as follows:

Session 1: Move Me Competition Screening and Animation Careers Q&A

Session 2: Lutruwita Animation Festival Introduction, Little J and Big Cuz Screening and Q&A with Little J creator Tony Thorne.

Session 3: Panorama: Animated Short Films made in Tasmania

Session 4: Feature Film Screening – The Secret Kingdom (Rated PG).
