Street to Stage

Street to Stage

Street to Stage is a live on stage event for local musicians that have experience of homelessness.

The event provides participants with an opportunity to showcase their music in front of a live audience, gain some skills and potentially win some recording time.

Everyone is invited to come along and support the performances, the event and enjoy the music. Audience member entry by donation.

Guests performance by Monique Brumby and Tash Zappala.

Street to Stage raises awareness, reduces stigma about homelessness and raises funds for Health with Dignity which enables Hobartians in extreme need to access GP appointments for free. Street to Stage is organised by the City of Hobart in close collaboration with the Housing With Dignity Reference Group.

Would you like to perform?

Would you like to play a gig, gain confidence onstage and maybe win a bit of recording time?

If you are a musician who has lived experience of homelessness or housing stress, we would love you to get in touch.

The event is open to performers of all types, from bands to buskers, soloists, rappers, spoken word poets, stand up comedians, improv, and instrumental artists.

Some musical equipment can be provided on the day.
