YARC Gallery - Microbiomes exhibition opening

Microbiomes is a love letter to the tiny, beautiful worlds we don't see – taking inspiration from sea life, plants, insects, and colourful moulds.

Nestled within the coral, the starfish, and the organisms, breathing in particles and out constellations, we lie in our microbiomes. The works are vibrant, pastel, alien yet familiar. Enter a realm where we become microscopic, where algae and shells overlap sleepy bodies.

With oil paintings and digital prints, Microbiomes reflects on our connection to the environment, and how at the end of the day, we are all very, very small.

About YARC Gallery

The YARC Gallery offers a great opportunity for young artists to showcase their artwork through a public program of visual art exhibitions.

It is located inside the Youth Arts and Recreation Centre and is accessible to both young people visiting the centre and to the broader community.
