kunanyi Mountain Run is an epic trail running festival celebrating Hobart's Mountain culture, where every participant can feel the power of connection with the place, and people, of the Mountain, kunanyi.

It is borne from a grass roots demand from the trail running community across Australia to stage an event in Australia's only Mountain capital.

For those new to trail running, this is your invitation to take on an exciting and inspiring challenge – and get a great yarn out of it.

For experienced trail runners, this is a chance to write history as part of the first genuine trail festival on a mountain that already has a bucket-list-worthy reputation.
