Health and wellbeing dashboard
The Health and Wellbeing Profile provides holistic population-level data that helps the City understand key health and wellbeing issues and inform our strategic priorities, and program and infrastructure planning.
The information is provided in an online, interactive dashboard and an accompanying pamphlet will also be available in June 2025. As a public platform, the Health and Wellbeing Profile is a useful tool for community members, private enterprises and not-for-profit organisations.
The data included in the Profile has been drawn from various datasets including the Australian Bureau of Statistics, id.profile and Primary Health Tasmania, to understand the health and wellbeing of the community across a range of themes including:
- Health conditions
- Lifestyle factors that can impact health
- Socio-economic factors such as education
- Resilience to disaster.
The data presented is for general information purposes only. Users of the data should conduct their own research as well as exercise their own judgment and caution before relying on the data.
Please note: for the best experience, along with additional data and information, these dashboards are best viewed on a desktop device.
The Health and Wellbeing Profile is an initiative of the City of Hobart to understand the health and wellbeing needs of our community. Development of the profile was funded by a Lift Local Grant provided by Healthy Tasmania Fund through the Tasmanian Government.
