Voices of the Southern Ocean

City of Hobart is a leading contributor to our 'City of Literature', granted under UNESCO's Creative Cities Network.

In support of this, as well as our status as a leading Antarctic Gateway, we worked together with key partners to develop Voices of the Southern Ocean: A Nipaluna/ Hobart Anthology.

The anthology is a curation of written works from local authors conveying their thoughts and feelings around the Antarctic and Southern Ocean marine environment and its preservation.

For its limited release, the main audience of the anthology is key international decision makers.

This is the first initiative of Hobart's City of Literature.
