The Hobart City Council Planning Committee has approved a City of Hobart development application for a new shared use track at 100 Pinnacle Road, Wellington Park, 30 McRobies Road, South Hobart, and 136C Pottery Road, Lenah Valley.

The application includes construction of a shared use track linking Knocklofty Reserve to McRobies Gully and Wellington Park at Main Fire Trail, proposed as the “Knocklofty to McRobies Gully Connector.”

The 3.9km track extends across six City of Hobart owned titles, and includes dual direction, single direction, shared, and mountain bike only sections.

Officer level Development applications approved between 5 September 2024 to 16 September 2024

Each fortnight the City's Planning Officers are busy reviewing a range of residential and commercial development applications for Hobart.

This fortnight, 16 development applications delegated to council officers were also approved while 22 development applications are currently being advertised.

A reminder that the Council has a planner on duty during office hours which members of the community can call through our Customer Services to check to see whether any development or work to a garden will require planning approval.

Further information about the proposals can be found in the Planning Committee agenda here.
