Christmas gift-giving all wrapped up
Published on 13 December 2019
CHRISTMAS shoppers are invited to bring their gifts to Elizabeth Mall from next week to have them expertly wrapped in return for a donation to charity.
The City of Hobart’s annual charity Christmas gift wrapping service starts on Monday 16 December and will operate up to and including Christmas Eve.
Each day, the service will be staffed by a local charity or organisation, with donations going to support their respective work in the community.
High-quality and sustainably sourced wrapping paper is offered in lots of fun and stylish prints and colours. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will support the charity or community group wrapping gifts on the day.
This year’s charities and community groups work to support children, young people, women and families in need, people living with disabilities, and to protect our unique wildlife.
The charity Christmas gift wrapping service will be available from 10.30 am to 4 pm daily from Monday 16 to Tuesday 24 December 2019. The service is located next to the Elizabeth Mall Information Hub.
