Long Beach toilets

We have built new toilets at Long Beach, Sandy Bay as part of our commitment to develop contemporary, accessible and secure facilities for the City of Hobart.

The new facilities provide:

eight toilets including two ambulant toilets, a family toilet space and accessible toilet
three external wash basins
two external showers
rooftop staging area with seating.

An accessible ramp to the stage on top of the toilets expected to be completed by mid-2022.

This project is supported through the Federal Government's, Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Grant. It was listed as a key priority for renewal in the City of Hobart's Public Toilet Strategy and was supported through a community engagement process in 2019.
